Record Number of Users, Enhanced Customer Experience and Increased Global Presence Highlight 2012 for Workhorse Software.

Moving forward was the mantra for Workhorse Software in 2012 as we welcomed new clients, new users and new employees.  We also launched a Workhorse web site redesign including a new support area with supplementary Mediatools reference materials.   Support training hours increased 15 percent over the previous year and we launched a vibrant YouTube video site containing Mediatools support video vignettes.  We’re also currently beta testing our new Mediatools platform to be unveiled in the first quarter of the New Year.

Yes, it was a busy year indeed.

“2012 was another exciting growth period for Workhorse Software. Our growth continues to come from both our established customers increasing their partnerships with us, particularly globally, as well as new partners discovering the benefits that Mediatools provides in global agency and advertisers media planning management,” said Marty Hayden, Vice President of Business Development.  “We’re looking forward to further expansion in 2013 with the rollout of our new platform offering even more, exciting capabilities.”

Marty also cited the expansion of Mediatools as a local planning tool overseas as one of the company’s top accomplishments in 2012.

“Mediatools is no longer looked at as only a data gathering tool, but rather a tool set that helps with creating local plans for review and approval, of which the natural output is comprehensive reporting,” he said.  “The company’s ability to absorb a 32 percent increase in users over the past 12 months is also a considerable achievement.”

In addition to adding support and quality assurance staff, Workhorse created the role of Implementation Manager to accommodate a more streamlined deployment process and to provide enhanced customer service.

And as numbers are our bread and butter, you might be interested to know that Workhorse Software:

  • Saw a three year average user growth of 23 percent
  • Added six new clients in 2012
  • Added one new global client, CPW, with major expansion among three existing clients (SC Johnson and Pfizer)

In addition:

  • More than 80 countries are now using Mediatools; a 21 percent increase over the past two years
  • Over 18 countries were visited by Workhorse Support for in-person training during 2012 covering all continents with the exception of Antarctica and Africa

We’ll be rolling out our new platform in the first quarter of 2013, which includes exciting new features that will enable us to better suit the needs of our users.  It’s the fruition of years of planning and effort.
